How large are the group hikes?

Most of our hikes are between 2-6 dogs, usually taken to Winslow park in Westport Ct or Lake Mohegan in Fairfield Ct. We are a trusted pet sitter by many based entirely on our experience and how good we are with your pets.

How do you pick up my dog if I’m not at home?

Most clients provide us with one of the following: a hidden key location or spare, an unlocked door, or a garage code. Whatever you are most comfortable with. We follow a thorough protocol to keep your privacy intact.

Do you only take larger dogs on your group hikes?

We take pups that range from all different shapes, sizes, and age groups. Our pet care is highly trusted and is often recommended by many people across our community.

Are there any extra charges?

Yes. We charge $20 extra per household for holiday services and $10 for weekend pet service.

What happens if my dog runs off or goes missing?

While this doesn’t happen often, it does happen occasionally. If a dog goes missing for 15 minutes, the staff member will let management know. We will notify the owner if we cannot find your dog after 30 minutes. If this happens, all available staff will go to help find your dog, and the town’s Animal Control office will be notified of the missing dog. We highly recommend having a tracking collar on your dog and making sure that your phone number is on their tags for obvious safety reasons. We do our best to make our pet sitting services as safe as possible.

What is your cancellation policy?

We allow our valued clients to cancel services up until 7 PM the night before. If a service is canceled after this time frame, we charge a 50% cancellation fee. If we show up to walk a client’s dog and either cannot get into the house or the dog isn’t home, it will be considered a same-day cancellation.

What if my dog is injured while hiking with a staff member?

We will notify you immediately of any serious injury to your dog. This doesn’t happen often but does on occasion. If your dog injures himself or herself, we expect the owner to take care of the veterinary bill. If one dog is injured by another, we expect the owner of the dog that caused damage to the other dog to take care of the medical bill.

Are all dogs up to date on their shots and vaccines?

We expect all clients to keep up with their dog’s veterinary needs. We also expect them to keep up with their dog’s flea and tick medication.

What other services do you offer besides group hikes?

Walking, boarding, short visits, play dates, in-home pet sitting, yard cleanup.

Am I in your service area?

We serve Stamford, Fairfield County, Stratford, and Milford Ct.
